You’re going to create an artwork that messes with people’s eyes. Using rhythm, repetition, contrast, and distortion, you’ll design a square composition that looks like it’s moving, vibrating, or stretching—even though it’s completely flat. We’ll look at Op Art and optical design, then you’ll build your own “optic shock” piece using either digital tools or traditional media.
